You are in the womb, you are the womb, you exist in an embryonic state where you're not quite sure which direction is which. All you know is it's way too hot, you're sweating, there's no AC, and some fans are barely moving the air around you.

A combination of both down tempo & fast hardware electronica (depending on the mood) mixed with ethereal layered vocals & floating flutes, at times melodic & progressive, at other times jarring & aggressive.
This femme improv duo is comprised of Nur Greene (La Petite Mort) and Elizabeth Chamberlain (Purpureal Daystar). These two have been making improv music together since 2010, with Earthsea bubbling to the surface circa early winter 2017.

Written & recorded in Olympia, WA during the record breaking heatwaves of summer 2021 in the Pacific Northwest.
